Thanks for the chance! Sarah J. Maas is probably my favorite new-to-me author this year, along with Brandon Sanderson. I’d really love to complete the Sarah J. Maas collection by adding Heir of Fire, Queen of Shadows, and ACOTAR!

Looking at my bookcase, my favorite new-to-me author is Kerstin Gier. I’ve read and bought/received 12 of her books this year, while not having read anything of hers before this year.
The three books I want most: Winter, Ten Thousands Skies Above You, and Feed (Newsflesh Trilogy)

Yes I love that too! It’s so interesting to see Lauren and Kelly discovering authors like Alex and Sarah this year, when I discovered them last year.

I read my first Rainbow Rowell book this year too – Attachments – and loved it! But then I didn’t like E&P. So i’m still on the fence about her lol – My TTT

Oh no! I love Eleanor & Park the most! That was the first book I read by Rainbow. I thought Fangirl was good. I’m not sure if I plan to read Attachments yet.

OH MY GOODNESS. You have all clearly had a good reading year because you have discovered a couple of my favorite authors each! So cool. I think there are only like 2 this year that we have in common (Jodi Meadows, Mary Pearson) but otherwise there are a LOT of authors that I have yet to read listed here (and quite a few that I have).

aaaand then my computer submitted it and cut out my 3 most wanted books of 2015. Technology…it is both the best and worst thing ever. My top 3 from 2015 that I would greatly appreciate in my hands: WINTER! Air Awakens (because I keep hearing AMAZING things about it)! Candidate (The Black Mage #3)!

Those are great lists, including authors I’ll be reading for the first time next year! My faves were M.R. Carey and Eli Brown, who are the kind of authors you secretly follow on all social media and then hope they’ll announce their next book by Christmas.
